5 Dynamic Trailing Stop Modes

Advanced automated trade trailing adapted to volatility, market structure, and candlestick geometry.

5 TRAILING MODES: ATR DYNAMIC VS FIXED PIP TRAIL ATR Dynamic Trail (Vol-Adjusted) Fixed Pip Trail
ATR Dynamic Trailing expands stop distance during high volatility and tightens during quiet consolidations to prevent premature stop outs.

What It Does

ChartWise provides 5 professional-grade trailing stop algorithms: Fixed Pips, ATR Volatility, BE-Then-Trail, Candle Close, and Market Structure.

How It Works in ChartWise

  1. Fixed Pips: Classic trailing with customizable step intervals.
  2. ATR Dynamic: Calculates Average True Range to adapt to market volatility.
  3. BE-Then-Trail: Snaps Stop Loss to entry first, then trails.
  4. Candle Close: Moves SL behind highs/lows on bar close.
  5. Market Structure: Trails swing highs/lows.

Every mode shares an activation threshold in pips (default 15): the EA will not trail a position until it is in profit by that amount.
